Where I started

My interest in media began after my O Levels, when I realised that creativity was something I genuinely wanted to pursue. I naturally gravitated towards understanding how visuals influence people and why certain colours or layouts catch attention. That early curiosity became the start of my creative journey and it pushed me to explore design more seriously. It taught me to pay attention to the little details that shape a viewer’s experience and it built the foundation for the way I create today.

Discovering Design and Marketing

As I dived deeper into design, I noticed how much I enjoyed the strategic side of it. I became fascinated with how visuals guide behaviour and how brands build trust through storytelling. This interest grew into a passion for marketing and content creation. I started learning how to communicate ideas clearly through visuals and how to create work that is both intentional and engaging. Through practice, I developed a strong sense of visual direction, branding awareness, and the ability to think from a consumer’s point of view. These were the skills that made me want to continue my journey in Media Production and Design.

How Media Production and Design Shaped Me

Studying Media Production and Design gave me the chance to bring everything together. I worked with real brands, handled creative briefs, and learned how to transform ideas into polished visuals with a clear purpose. This experience strengthened my confidence in creative problem solving, content creation, and brand storytelling. It allowed me to test my ideas in real scenarios and understand the standards industries expect. Along the way, I sharpened my abilities in many ways such as the learining more Adobe softwares, photography, videography, and layout design. All these experiences shaped me into someone who is ready to bring value to a company through thoughtful design, strong conceptual thinking, and visuals that connect with people.
